Hi, do I have to mention my travels before the landing day?.
I'm asking because in the online wizard on the CIC site, it asks about this but doesn't calculate except from the landing day.

Don’t overthink it and just give everything that’s asked
They check all your travel records within those 5 years regardless you were already a PR or not - don’t ask why since there could be millions of reasons : e.g. what if you traveled to some war zone or areas known for drug trafficking or terrorist activities?

Then they would have not called it as Absences from Canada, they would have called it travel history. Even the 'From Date' is actually labelled as 'Date you left Canada'.
