Who signs the photos? please help thank you

what photos? and where does it say someone has to sign them? more info please

hi the 8 photos we have to send to with our application. Does any one have to ceritify them?thanks

No one needs to "sign" them:

Photos: Ask a photographer to provide you with a set of photos of yourself and each of
your family members included in your application, whether they will be accompanying
you or not. The required number of photos for each individual is indicated at Appendix A,
under PHOTOS. Photos must comply with specifications given at Appendix C, Photo
Specifications. Make sure you give a copy of these specifications to the photographer.
· On the back of one photo (and only one) in each set, write the name and date of birth
of the person appearing in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken.
· Enclose each set of photos in separate envelopes. Write the family member’s name,
date of birth and relationship to you on the corresponding envelope and close the
envelope with a paper clip.
· Photos must not be stapled, scratched, bent or bear any ink marks.
Note that the visa office may also require additional photos at a later date.

the number of photos requested depend on the region specific form, is this right?

our Australia region specific form states that we need to send 5 photos, it gives the specifications but does not say anything about signing them or writing on the back.

is every region different?

thanks

The language I pasted was from the Immigrant's Guide, so that doesn't depend on the region. As far as the number of photos, correct: you'd get that from the region-specific form for your region. OP seems to live in UK so the number of photos needed according to the region-specific instructions form for Western Europe is 8.

Hey guys.... I got a little worried when I seen someone write that the back of one of the photos needs to be signed... So i checked my sponsorships country specific instructions, and it shows nothing about having anything written on the back... So everyone should just make sure they follow their specific instructions.

I dont understand why all familt memebers have to take photos? I am just sponsering my husband not kids as they are already
canadian citizens? by yes i have included there names in the forms ! please help

Probably because they want to examine all family members in case they are sponsored in the future. However, when the instructions say, "provide you with a set of photos of yourself and each of your family members included in your application, whether they will be accompanying you or not," they are referring to any family members that are not already Canadian PRs or citizens, so you don't have to do this for your kids. They don't need to be examined as they're already Canadian citizens.

From what I was told by CIC call center.. I am sponsoring my wife and my son is coming along too.. my son is already a Canadian Citizen because i was born in Canada... I Only have to sponsor my wife into Canada.. and for my son I have to complete the Proof of Citizenship Form and send that away... The CIC lady said that I only have to send my wifes medical in... my son can come to canada and stay whenever he wishes... Hope that helps.. call the call centre and ask for yourself. :)
