does a canadian citizen sponsor have to include identity photos when applying as common law ??

On the country specific checklist for paris it says:
Supply eight (8) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself

also I've read on the forum that people have labeled the photos.
All we have is the photographer's stamp with the date on the back is this ok?

The country specific checklist refers to the person(s) being sponsored, so the pictures requested are for the family members you are sponsoring.
On the back of each photo you should put the name of the person, date of birth and have that person sign it. The sponsor does not need to provide any photos of himself.

Hi

I do not mean to correct you but for family immigration class the Principal Applicant is required only to supply 8 photos as per specs for him/her and any additional person sponsored. But do not put the name on the back of each photo. Just put the photos of each individual in a small envelope and write the names outside the envelope!

If ldumitriu is from Romania there is no need to write the names on the photos!

Cheers

Hi,

Not a problem...no offence taken...just trying to help, but am new at this.

I did take the photo instructions from CIC Eastern Europe: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3902e.pdf

"On the back of each photograph, write the name and date of birth of the person who
appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken."

Do we both agree that the Principal Applicant is the person being sponsored? I may have misunderstood Idumitriu's question: I thought he was asking as a Canadian citizen and sponsor if he needed to included photos of himself? The photos needs to be of the sponsored family.

Regards

Hi guys, I'm a SHE :)

to Jarry
I was asking as a canadian citizen and sponsor if I need to include photos of myself.

to messenger
I am from Romania and a naturalized citizen, does it depend on the countries whether or not you have to write your name on the pack of the photos??

I just realized that you put in the eastern europe country specific specs, but that doesn't apply

anyways THANKS I got my answer :D

Hi and bună dimineața

When we have to write info on the back of the photos is when we are renewing passports!
On the family class sponsorship is not required

Cheers
