Photos for Spouse Sponsorhip - quick question??

I am sponsoring my husband from Austria. In our country specific guide it says they need 8 identical photos of him and all of his family members - by family members I am assuming that they mean dependents? Since we have no children and I am only sponsoring him, we only need the photos of him right? Or do they want 8 photos of me (the sponsor) as well?

Also, I'm not sure if we need to sign and date the back of these at all, I can't see anything in the guide that says that but have read about others signing them?

Basically I want to make sure that we have what we need: I have included 8 recent, identical photos of my husband only but he has not signed the back of them in any way. Is this correct?

only the applicant needs to provide photos. this is what is used to issue the approval papers and pr card later. "family members" as used in the application does NOT refer to the spouse who is the sponsor, it refers to other family members who are applying for pr in the application ie: children or if 2 spouses are being sponsored by a 3rd person.

if the country specific guide does not say to sign or date the back, then there's no reason to. not all visa offices require this. it's not going to be an issue.

Great, that's what I thought! Thank you very much They really should be more clear about what "family members" means in the application, haha, I see a lot of confusion over this in this forum. I mean, I am my husband's family member! So are his parents and brothers! They really should just put "applicants" instead.

HI rhcohen2014 I am sponsoring my husband and i saw your post stated only pictures for the applicant, we are parents to (1) one child 5years old who is a canadian citizen (already have passport)just want to confirm that i dont have to submit photos for her either???
