Photography business in Canada, is it a good idea?

Hi. it is my dream to become a professional photographer and have my own portrait studio. Is is a good idea to set up a photography business in Manitoba or in any part of Canada? Are Canadians fond of having their photos taken professionally? like, a studio for newborn babies, pregnant moms and families. Please give me some info. Thanks.

Hi Angel,

Well if you can do wedding pictures you'll be a hit. People hire for weddings guaranteed and they pay a lot for it too. I've also noticed its all about marketing yourself more than the quality of work.

I don't know a whole lot but here are my two cents from what I've realized living in Toronto.
