Dear all,

I am a Canadian citizen who have been living in Hong Kong for 18 years and I am trying to sponsor my wife to Canada. Our 2 children were born in Hong Kong and have got their Canadian citizenship already.

From the checklist of the Visa Office specific instructions, I need to submit the photocopies of my wife’s passport/travel document. How about the photocopies of my passport and my children’s passport?

Also, the photo requirements of the Instructions tell us to “supply two recent photos for each member of your family and yourself”. Now, only my wife is applying for immigration. The rest of us are citizens already. Do we all still need to supply the photos?

Thanks a lot.

Wallace

No, you only supply a copy of your wife's passports and her photos. You and the children must still be listed on the Additional Family Information form.
