PhD from Canada

I am graduate from a re-known university of Pakistan, I have completed my bachelors in software engineer and masters in information security from the same university. I am currently working as a Technical Software Lead in a multinational company in Pakistan. I have recently given IELTS and have secured a decent 6 band in it. I want to do PhD from Canada, I have a supervisor who have accepted my request and was looking forward to apply in University of Manitoba but they require 6.5 band. Can i get admission in University of Manitoba with a 6 band and a supervisor? Or is there any other University i can look into?

You should retake IELTS and achieve a score of at least 6.5 in each of the four categories. Even if the university accepts you, there's quite a high chance CIC will refuse the study permit. For Masters and PhD studies, CIC wants to see scores of at least 6.5 (in all four categories).
