I applied in starting July 2024 and it is still in review.
My Ext letter says :
"you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restrictions on hours until or until January 15 2025 or a decision is made on your application, whichever is first."

In case my application still show in review , should I leave and can stay and work in Canada?

Thanks

You should have a response before January 2025.

i am in the same situation mine is November 28th and still haven’t heard anything yet even tho i applied using a consultant.

The letter actually says that your work authorization is no longer valid if I don't receive a decision on or before Jan 15 2025.

Wow well that’s what she told me, I’ll have to call her again on Monday.
idk on my letter i didn’t see anything like that

It’s is clearly written that you are authorized to work until a decision is made or until Jan 15 , which ever is first.

This means that if you don’t receive decision by Jan 15 then you are not authorized to work .

I asked my immigration consultant and she said i can continue working even if they don’t make a decision before that it won’t affect me and I think she knows more about this stuffs than us because she is certified

You can keep on working until they make a decision.

If we don’t finalize your application by the date on your letter
If we don’t finalize your application by the date on your letter, you can still keep working until we make a decision.

If your employer or others need proof that you can continue to work

  • you can show them this web page, or
  • if your employer is not satisfied with the information on this page, you can contact us
