PGWP

My husband and I recently apply to the PGWP, we applied together and we where waiting for the letter to be able to work while waiting for the permission, but unfortunately, I am the only one who gets the letter, and he, who was the international student did not receive anything.

On the other hand, in the application, when we click on his, the UCI number it's not shown, but it is in mine. Is it a mistake on the website or should we wait for his letter? Thanks

How can you apply together for PGWP? Only the graduated intl student can apply for PGWP. Please explain.

Doesn't he need to have his pgwp already approved, with 3 payslips in an eligible NOC job before he can apply for your extension? I was not aware that you can submit both together.

To answer your question though, perhaps you should call IRCC and inquire because it's strange that his UCI is not showing up on his application.

To my knowledge, anyone who submits the application for PGWP can already start working the second you submit the application and get confirmation that the application has been received. You have legal work status right then right there. Only if the PGWP gets rejected can one not work anymore. But you can already work during the processing of the PGWP.
