PGWP - transfer from university to college ( full-time Question )

Hello,

Im currently studying degree in university at montreal and would like to transfer to study 1-2yr diploma in college at ottawa. So far I completed 3 full semesters ( 2017 Winter-Fall, 2018 Winter ) and 2 summers ( 2017-18 ). I applied for winter 2019 at the college and since they probably wont count/transfer most of my credits, that means the fall semester im currently taking is wasted.

I want to know if its possible to take this fall semester off and go back to my country and then come back at winter? Would explaining the reason why im taking it off is because im transferring to another DLI college?

Don't take an unscheduled break even before/after transferring

Do you need your university time to count for PGWP? I think there is a risk of loosing all that time if you transfer since you didn't graduate.
So it could be like starting over from zero, I am guessing here dont know for sure.
