PGWP to visitor

Hello,
my pgwp ends next month on August 20th.
Can I change my status or extend visa temporarily as a visitor to deal with my leased car and take celpip tests boost up points for EE?
If yes, should I apply for visitor visa or visitor record?
Also if my permit is extended, am i still able to apply for EE as a visitor in Canada?
If i boost my points with better exam score, i can meet minimum requirement for CRS.
I just don't want to waste money going back to Korea.

You should apply for a visitor record before your PGWP expires so you can remain in Canada as a visitor. Obviously you need to be able to support yourself without working; you cannot extend your work permit.

on Canada.ca, it says i should apply at least 30 days in advance.
My permit is less than a month, will i still be able to apply?
I know it will be case by base, but just want to know i at least meet the requirment for application.
