PGWP Timelines May Applicants

May 27, already have a job offer, need to amend my current study permit in order to start earlier as I didn't have an off-campus work permit...

I applied may 9 but I paid 155 fees only. what is extra charge 100??.Now status is submitted. Please advise me. Thanks

For all of the applicants who have applied in May. Its my advice to just sleep for next 2 month at least. There are 100 of applicants, including myself, who have applied in March and they are waiting for their PGWP.
CIC is now taking at least 3 months to process each application and at-least 2 months to ask for the submission of extra fee of 100 $.
Ya off course, if you think you are very lucky person then you might have a chance of getting it sooner than three months.

Hi guys,

I'm a bit confused about the payment of pgwp. I applied online and made a $255 payment online.
Do I still have to get two copies of the receipt and send them via mail?

tonero thanks for your reply. I paid online, and I received the Official Receipt. I never uploaded the Official Receipt in my application though. The reason im confused is because of the following text under the Official Receipt: "Please print two copies of this receipt, send one to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and keep one for your records. Please also note that the payer's name on this receipt does not have to be the same
as the one on the application form"

applied may 11 and still no progress,. our permits and trv are soon to expire this 21st of july. Does this mean will be under implied status while waiting for the decision of our PGWP and spouse OWP application. are we allowed to continue working? ..the stress of waiting makes us wana drive to the border and do flagpoling.

What poling mean exactly? You can keep working under implied status yes. Im in the same boat! Im surprisingly calm about the whole thing.

Hey everyone,

I applied May 23rd and paid the 255$...no answer yet and quite frankly am not expecting anything until mid August the earliest. Last I checked they were still processing applications from the end of March and processing time was 98 days...

I have applied May 28th and no response. It seems like the processing time is 98 days now. I have a vacation booked to US in September, I hope I receive before then.

2 days before mine , sept should be more than ample you dont want to get "STUCK" in the states

Hey guys,

Here is my little contribution to the topic. I applied on May 12th, and still haven't heard from CIC (as of today July 26th). Regarding to the others' experience (on the March applicants topic) , I think i'm gonna have to wait 2 more months (yay!).
