Hello everyone,

I submitted my PGWP application on June 8th, but there hasn’t been any progress. Since my student status expired before I applied, I’m not allowed to work while waiting for the permit. I’ve already received a job offer, but I have to wait for the work permit before I can start. My employer has already been waiting for me for three months, and I’m worried that if I wait any longer, I might lose the job.

What should I do now?

Call IRCC and ask them! This is the only thing you can do now!

I've already tried reaching out, but they all say they can't help because my application hasn’t exceeded the processing time. However, when I applied, the processing time was 90 days, and now it has increased to 166 days… waiting even longer seems endless. It feels like this department is impossible to communicate with.

The most you can do is check if you exceeded the processing times they posted and raise a webform and / or call
