See the huge PGWP thread for timelines, no you dont need to leave https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program.html

PGWP cant be extended a job doesn't matter.

PGWP doesnt add anything particular to the PR process but if you gain certain types of work experience this can give you more points in Express Entry for example, but its up to you to pick which immigration process to go for.

All the info is on the official websites https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/work/after-graduation/after-you-apply.html

So what if i got a job , how will i stay and retain the job without a valid PGWP ?!!!
You apply for PR after you have a year of skilled work experience in Canada. If you can't get that before your PGWP expires, you have to find an employer to sponsor you for another work permit, qualify for some sort of provincial nomination, or leave Canada.
