I came to canada to study MSc (Thesis-Research) in McGill University in AUG 2010. I completed my thesis very soon, thus applied for PGWP in AUG 2011. Generally it is given for three years. But I got it for just one year since i completed it early :( . In the permit it says that I have to get out of canada on/ not later than OCT 20 2012. Just now I have started searching for job. Dunno if I will get a job within thin one year.I just have one year of time now. I want to know what can I do next? Shall I apply for PR? What kind of permit should I apply to extend my stay in canada. Please help ! i am totally lost and in tears. :-[ :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

HI usually PGWP lenght determined by your study length. if you want to continue your job, you can ask your employer to file LMO.
are they willing to help you for your work permit? just try.

LMO for PGWP holders is a very easy process. No job advertising is required. Don't worry!
