Hello!
I recently graduated and upon starting my PGWP application, I stumbled upon some questions on how to fill certain parts of the IMM5710 form:
1. In the “national identity document” the form asks for a document number, as well as expiry and expedition dates. I’m Mexican, and as far as I understand, the national ID would be the INE, which does not provide full dates or document number. Should I just tick “no” for this section then?
2. In the “coming into Canada” section, when asked to state the date and place of first entry into Canada, I’m not sure what to write as my situation is very specific. I first came to Canada to finish high school in Vancouver (with a different passport and study permit than my current ones) but later came back to do my post-secondary studies in Ontario (current passport and study permit). Should I use the very first date of when I arrived to Canada (in Vancouver) or the first time I came back with my post-secondary study permit? Particularly I’m concerned that the officer reviewing the application might be confused if I state I came through Vancouver since the passport I’m attaching in the documents does not have those stamps (they’re in my old passport) should i just attach both passports and both study permits?
Any help or insight into the matter will be very appreciated
Thanks.
