I am considering doing 2 post graduate certificates that have a common first level and can be done in just 3 semesters instead of four. Does anybody know the length of the PGWP i would get, since i will have 2 certificates at the end?

Not more than 3 semester of PGWP since you won't get credits for that waived semester. PGWP is based on credits system.

PGWP are given for programs that last eight months at least.

No matter how many certificates you will get.

So since 3 semesters are 9 months, then you will get them for 9 months.

I am asking this because i found on cic webpage a link that says if we do an accelerated program we can be eligible for a length longer than we actualy did:
cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/students/post-grad.asp

that says:
If the student is enrolled in a program of study that is normally eight months in duration but the student completes the requirements for the program of study within six months, they may be eligible for PGWPP.

Given that the program of study must be at least eight months in duration and not that the student must have been studying for at least eight months, the student may to be eligible for a post-graduation work permit valid for eight months.

Its not for the waived off semester (your case). By finishing 8 months course in 6 months, you still have same credit hours, but by waiving off the whole term, you are actually reducing your credit hours.
