Good day all hope everyone is well. I had a question re this 18 month extension. Currently I have my PR application pending which was done through legal representative. Before that I had applied for my pgwp myself couple years prior. I want to do the extension for April 6th but I guess my question is which UCI would be used. Would it be the one on my expiring work permit done from when I applied for it or would it be the one from my pending PR application.

UCI is the unique client identification number, which means that this number is consistent through your study visa, to work visa, to pending PR. That is my case and I believe it's everyone's case here. Yours shouldn't be different.

That’s for the response. I agree re the UCI if I did the entire process myself then yeah I would understand it being the same. But re a legal representative they create a different profile which is why I assume there is a different UCI.

I don't think your UCI will change. Although PR is done through an agent, the UCI will be yours. You can check with them to confirm, but I'm sure it's the case!
