I am a new Ph.D. student and i started this fall (from distance, living in the UAE). I have applied for the study permit on the 12th of september and got the AIP.
I have a question regarding the eligibility requirements of the PGWP. As per the recent updates, you are eligible for PGWP if “you applied for a study permit before starting your study program in the spring, summer or fall 2020 semester”. HOWEVER, my semester started on the 8th of september and I applied on the 12th, could this affect my eligibility in the future if i apply for pgwp?
*note: as per the recent updates, i am allowed to start this fall having applied for the study permit before the 15th of september.
