I have completed a 1 year postgraduate certificate program at a DLI in saskatchewan (Jan-December 2023) and I am currently enrolled in a 1 year certificate program in another DLI in saskatchewan (started in January 2024). Both programs are PGWP-eligible.

I have maintained full-time time status so far, did not take any breaks other than one scheduled break (summer 2023), and abided by my study permit requirements. My study permit is valid through March 2025.

For my current program I have transferred 5 out of 10 courses (15 out of 30 credits) from a university that is not a DLI.

After this semester I will have 2 courses (part-time status) left to complete this summer to graduate. These courses are condensed into 2 months (May-June).

Would I be eligible for a post-graduation work permit after graduating in this case?

If not, will I be allowed to take the summer semester off as a scheduled break and finish my studies in the fall semester?
