Can I apply for PGWP? I graduated from school last year in June but I decided to start a different program and I just started the first semester. Can I apply to change my status to worker or should I leave the country and then make the application? I want to stop going to school because it is financially impossible for me to continue.

No. You need to apply for PGWP within 180 days or 6 months of graduation. Your timelines make no sense because seems like you didn’t study for almost a year.
