Good day. Seemingly, I've made an error that I'd like to assess if there is any recourse for. I had misinterpreted some info on IRCC website where the PGWP and work are concerned. I made the assumption that I could work while still on valid Study Permit. Also, that I was able to apply for the PGWP within 180 days of receiving final grades. I did in fact take on work. However, I became aware that I was acting in error by not applying in advance. Becoming clear on this misstep in the process I vacated the position immediately after only 7 days (making up only 45 hours total). I misread and misinterpreted information, then assumed it was get a job position while still on valid permit, and apply same time while study permit hasn't expired. I'm aware now, that isn't at all the case. I've applied for the PGWP on November 26, 2019 (while study permit was still valid). My study permit expired on November 30. With my working before applying as a potential issue, is my PGWP application in serious jeopardy? Are there any steps I could take to improve my candidacy? What does anyone here suppose will be the most likely outcome? Are there cases anyone here can reference where things like this happen? Would appreciate any honest response. Thank you.
