Pgwp application cancelled

Hello, my pgwp application was cancelled on January 15 and still I did not get any updates, I had tried a lot to call CIC, but they hang up,
Please suggest me, should I reapply it or wait for their response because my study permit is valid till march 31 and i need to get pgwp asap,

Have you any idea why it was cancelled? You have two options, call the CIC until you get through, or send a case specific email. Have patience, you will get though to CIC eventually.

you see that your application was cancelled, it means that before we made a final decision, (CIC) we:

• made a mistake and had to recreate your application
• found that you do not need the status/document you applied for.

I had also send a case specific mail but I didn’t get any reply yet.

Very weird. But stay on the phone until you get an answer. Never heard of this before.

They don’t even put me in the queue, they says that we are unable to connect your call due to higher numbers of calls and hang up by advising to call later

It is tough trying to get through, but try at different times of the day. You will get through eventually. Try different options on the menu too.
