Dear Forum members,

Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication to this forum.

Around the end next year, I will be graduating. Current status : Study Permit.
My Canadian wife and I we will officially get married. Now the thing is that the ceremony will take place couple of months later past my graduation, and I will have to apply for a PGWP so I can have a status in Canada since I live here with her. I know that a PGWP typically takes 80+ days. The question is.. Will it be a problem if I a work while I am waiting for my PGWP ? And will it be a problem if my wife sponsor me while I am waiting for my PGWP and live with her, here in Canada ?

Thank you all in advance for your time.

You can start working once you applied for PGWP.
Your spouse can sponsor you while waiting for PGWP. No problem in that either.
