Hi! I have just received my PhD from the university of Ottawa and applied for PGWP. They issued me a work permit for two years instead of three. My passport is valid for the whole period of three years and my program has a length of four years. The only thing is that I started my program at Carleton university and after two years transferred to UOttawa because my supervisor left and I could only find a Prof. in the same area at UOttawa. Both universities are DLI and the program is offered as a joint program between the two universities so it should not prevent me to get my PGWP for three years. Does any one know what might be the reason or if there is any mistake from IRCC side?
