PGP sponsor - clarification on 6 months PCC requirement

Hey Guys, I sponsored my parents for PGP2018.

Does anyone know the exact requirement for PCC ? If the applicant spent 6 months in another country cumulatively rather than consecutively, is a PCC still required ?

Example: applicants spends 3 months in Country A, comes back to home country, spends another 3 months in Country A, comes back to home country.

Anyone have experience with this ? Thanks!

Called and asked IRCC. Answer is 6 months are cumulative, not necessarily consecutive.
