PGP Question

CIC is requiring my dad’s IMM5406 and IMM5669 as my mom (principal applicant) dependant. They have been divorced for over 20 years, and he is nowhere to be found. I don’t have any contact with him, so I don’t know what to do.

I have the translated divorce certificate and plan to include letter of explanation. Would that be enough? Or should I also include the forms? Those forms require his signature. Any ideas?

Respond immediately with the divorce certificate and explanation that no-one is in contact with him, but most importantly, that he is NOT being sponsored as dependent of the principal applicant (and in truth cannot be as no longer in a spousal relationship with her).

Had the divorce certificate been included with the original app? Was he included on the IMM0008? (He should not have been on the latter, but I undrestand the online forms are less clear about this...)
