My parents will be visiting me in Canada for next 4 months. I had applied for their PR under PGP in 2016, and their file is transferred to Ottawa after SA. Should I change their mailing address to Canada, even though I have provided email address for communication. CIC website was not very helpful to change the Address - 1. Per the website, I had to apply change of address on home country consulate, which I am still doubting since the application is transferred to Ottawa and not to New Delhi where they may not know any thing. 2. Even at the home country consulate, Web Form, they are asking "Did you submit a paper application to an office outside of Canada?" which contradicts as the application was filed by the sponsor, in Canada, and it was transferred to Ottawa.

Any feedback?

i would not recommend changing their address. since parental sponsorship takes years to process and they are only visiting for short term, then there is no need. if you change their address to a canadian one while visiting, you would have to change it back when they return home. that doesn't seem very efficient nor necessary to me.

Thanks. However the recent year's applications are moving fast. Lot of 2016 applicants are requested for PCC or Medical. Most of them have LVO as New Delhi or home country, but soon may happen for Ottawa LVO.
