HI GUYS, HOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS ONE?

"If you indicated periods of unemployment or self-employment, you must provide details of your activities during the said period and submit applicable supporting documents."

Should i provide details of activities if i am unemployed?

thanks

I think the key word here is 'applicable' (i.e. depending on what you were doing, there may or may not be supporting documents).

So if you were unemployed, what did you do while unemployed, presumably 'actively looking for another job' and if you were, did you perhaps send letters out with a CV to prospective employers, if so, a copy of one or two such covering letters should do it.

Or, if while you were unemployed you decided to work as a volunteer for a charity, then say so and provide a letter from the charity confirming you were working as a volunteer etc.

If there is a gap in employment, you need to explain why you were not working. it will not affect your application as long as you meet all the requirements.
