Before my current job, I was a retail store associate in BC. During studies I was part-time, and after studies became full-time while having the same position. I didn't put this job in work history as it doesn't provide any PR opportunities.
However, I am mentioning it in personal history.
Now, upon confirmation of current job, I gave my resignation on 18 Nov 2022. I had my exit interview and last shift in the evening of 30th Nov.
I moved to my current place on 1st Dec and started my current job a few days after.
My question is regarding the last day of employment that I have to fill in personal history.
I thought it is 30 Nov (my last shift).
But, when I check my paystub, it is from 19 Nov till 2 Dec.
I asked a manager at my store, and he too mentioned 2 Dec (end of payroll period). He said the idea is - you remain employed until you're terminated from the management system.
But I wasn't even physically present there these extra two days.
My question :
So what is the last date of employment? 30 Nov or 2 Dec?
In personal history, what should I put as my end date for this employment activity - 2022 Dec, or 2022 Nov?
