Personal History- Off Semester??

Hello
I am working on Personal History Section.
I did my studies from Jan2011 to Dec 2012 and also got summer breaks like May2011 to July 2011 (Semester off).
So my question is should i mention that time as well e.g

Jan 2011- April2011: Studying, Diploma in XXX;
May 2011- july 2011: Unemployed, Semester off;
Aug 2011- Dec2012: Studying Diploma in XXX;


Should it be like this??

Maybe they would accept it as is, but I don't think stating that you were unemployed and taking semester off are productive. Probably better to state what you were doing: leisuring, travelling, staying at home, etc...

Semester Off is part of your studies. You dont have to mention it.

i got almost similar question

I came to Canada in April on study permit and i deferred the semester but i was in Canada, officially i wasn't univ student as per my univ record.
I was on study permit but deferred admission, so what should i write in these 4 months.
