please advise if there is GAP during study of few months. How we should describe that as they demand dont leave gaps b/w dates.

Gap between what?
From ug to pg or from study to work. If its study to work like u finished pg by 12.10.2011 and got employed by 5.06.12,then you can mention in application for the gap as "searching for job".this is what i had given in my application.
If its ug to pg then you need to give ur own geniune reason for tht.
