i need some advice .we receive our visa last month. and our departure in june 11 how long i should stay in canada can i go home after 1 year?.. i have no plan to become citizen can i exit canada every year and renew2 my PR? Thank you

The current rule, one of the most generous in the world IMO, is that to retain status as a PR, one must reside 2 years (730 days) out of every 5 in Canada.

(UNLESS your spouse is a Canadian citizen with whom you reside abroad. OR you are employed by a Canadian company which posts you abroad)
