Can anybody share their experience regarding processing and processing time for PRTD. I don't want to wait for my pr card and wanted to come back home to India to get married. I will appreciate if someone please help me through this.

I am in kind of same situation, I need to leave for India and I recently became p.r. I havent received pr card till now. were you able to get PRTD easily ? without issues.. Please let me know.Thanks

Generally around 2 weeks thro VFS India.

I am in Delhi for exactly 2 weeks (10 business days). Is it advisable to do my landing right now and then go to Delhi or do my landing while on the way back?
Also, can I apply for PRTD before going to Delhi? That way I just need to submit my passport for stamping.

VFS won't submit your PR TD application to CHC unless you give original passports along with it. That's their job to ensure the checklist is complete. So you can't apply and submit passports later for stamping, if that was your question.

You can write a cover letter and write in detail why you want an urgent processing.
