Permanent Residency/Work abroad

Hi there,

Since Permanent Residents need to stay in Canada during a minimum period, 2 out of 5 years I believe, would I be able to enter the country for a couple of weeks and then leave again to continue my job in another country? As long as I stay in Canada for min 2y in a 5y time frame?

Is this also possible when applying under the French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream?
