Hello everyone. I asked a similar question to this one before, but I'm still confused.

I have a daughter who is a Canadian citizen by descent (I'm Canadian born). We do not have her Certificate of Citizenship yet, but will apply for it.

We are also in the midst of preparing my wife's Permanent Resident application. Does my wife's PR app require that we send along my daughter's Certificate of Citizenship? In other words, do we have to apply for the CoC, wait the six months to get it, and then submit the PR app for my wife, which could take up to a year or more?

I was hoping to get the ball rolling on both issues concurrently, as I see no necessity to include a child's CoC with a spouse's PR app, but I'm not sure.

Clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I am not sure if you need to send Coc with application.
But by sending the Coc it will only assure that you will be only sponsoring your spouse and you will be sending the right fee and only medicals of your spouse.
