hello.

I am a Canadian citizen (by descent) currently living in the US (as I have my whole life) with my American husband and son. We are planning to move to Toronto and trying to figure out the easiest/fastest/least expensive way. From what I can tell there are three options:

1) Filing for a family class sponsorship while we are still living here in the US

2) move to Canada, have me be the only one working while we file for PR for my husband and son and hopefully get a work permit for my husband while dealing with PR application. (I’m unclear what the health insurance status would be during this time)

3) see if my husband can find a job that will offer him a work permit. We move up and deal with all other filings while we are there.

I would love some perspective on if I’ve got this right. If I’ve missed something and what or best option might be.

Thanks in advance!
