Hello guys,

I was checking the PR calculator and came across couple of questions that needs to be clarified:

1) What is Certificate of qualification for the Federal Skills Trades Program? Since I have done my IFIC (Mutual Funds Certification course in BC) , will that be counted ?

2) I just started my job that falls under NOC B category so should I say yes under the valid job offer?

I really look forward to receiving the replies :)

1) No - that's not a trade. Trades are things like plumbing, electrical, etc.
2) What sort of work permit are you working under? Do you have an approved LMIA? If you are on a PGWP, the answer to the job offer question is no.

thanks syclla !! But are there any other options to get the PR? I have done my 2 years full time studies in Canada and have currently scored overall band of 6.5 in IELTS. Few months back have started a job that falls under NOC B category but my permit is expiring soon. I am really worried

You should re-write IELTS to achieve a higher score. This may improve your chances of PR.

You can also look into the PNP immigration streams.
