Permanent Residency Application with Pre-Arrival Services Invitation Letter Since August 2018

Hi, want to ask about this case. I got my kids from Philippines through student visa last February this year 2019. they are here now in Canada with me. Do I need to inform CIC that my kids (dependents) were here already? Another is, I still receive no Passport Request for my PR Application and yet we had our (passed) medical last June 2018 and received already a Pre-arrival Services Letter Invitation last August 2018. I am worried for it's almost a year already from the date we had our medical. I keep on checking my email and cic account but no message still. any advice please. Do I need to call the CIC?
