Hi,
This is my first time posting, and also first time on this website. I have a question about the way international fees work, so first I will say a little about my situation:
- I applied for permanent residency in May of 2015 (well, my mother did with a common-law sponsor, and I am under the same application). We have just recently heard from the immigration agency approving my mother's sponsor, and requesting medical reports, that were sent about a month and a half ago.
- I am currently in my first year of university and I paid international fees for the first semester.
- I have yet to pay for second semester fees, which are due in January.
So, my question is: would the international fees be affected at all by this decision. If so, would I get a refund for the past fees, since I was under an application at the time of payment? I heard that from another international student, but I don't know how reliable that source is
.
Thank you, to whomever would share any information they have with me,
MARIA
