The processing time for new PR's is 42 business days, which divided by 5 business days equals 8.4 weeks or 58.8 calendar days or 84672 minutes. Since in your case it's been slightly higher than that, you should contact the Call Centre, as advised here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp.

1. You forgot to add 1 day for July first and about 5 days for mailing.

hope u get ur PR soon.

i have a question. has it been made mandatory that u cannot leave canada without obtianing PR card. as i plan to visit for a week or so and then after a year come permanantly. i have asked a friend to send me the PR card as i will give his address for that purpose.
