Permanent Residence Cancellation

Hi,
I know a person who got permanent residence status for Canada in 2016. He worked for an International Organization based in Europe but was posted in the middle east. He had a history of harassment with his colleagues and sub-ordinates. This year in January he was accused of sexual assault by one of his female sub ordinates. He was sent on leave because of this. This month he has been dismissed from his job because his organization has reached the conclusion that he was guilty of the crime. As far as I know no police case has been registered.
My question is whether there is a chance that his permanent residence status in Canada can be cancelled because of this case

Assume this is likely you. You are currently not meeting your RO if you have been gone since 2016 so that could lead to you losing your PR and expect to be charged if you repeat this behaviour in Canada.

Fortunately this is not me.
In fact consider me in the opposite camp.
And this person has been traveling to Canada for enough days that meets the requirement for retaining his permanent residence. So unfortunately I guess that makes him safe.

Yes - his PR status is perfectly safe.
