Permanent residence application inquiry

I am a Canadian citizen, residing outside of Canada. After having recently completed a spousal sponsorship application, I came across an online government link, which specified the need to submit an accompanying permanent residence application. I searched for this application on various sites, but could not find it. Where online can I access it, and does it indeed need to be submitted with the sponsorship application?

Your application should have 2 parts to it. Your application to be a sponsor and the PR application of the person you're sponsoring. Here is the link that has the forms for both parts as well as the guides:
