Hi everyone. I have a question about whether I should apply for PEQ temporary skilled worker or not.
I worked for the first six months for one company full time. In the sense that my hours were scheduled by my employers, I used their equipment and they determined my tasks and how they were completed I was their employee, however I was paid as an independent contractor and my contract was for 6 months.
I subsequently got another skilled job and have been a payroll employee for 9 months.
Does the fact that I was paid as an independent contractor disqualify me from applying in the skilled worker strand?
