Pending PGWP and Travelling

Hi all,

My Visa and Permit ends on 1st August 2025. My PGWP is pending for a decision. I applied it 2 days ago. I'm planning to go to my home country on 1st of June 2025 and come back on 15th July 2025. What my concern is that will I be questioned by the CBSA at the airport because my studies are over and I'm still returning back. I mean I can explain that I'm here for PGWP but it's still processing and I'm under Implyed Status? Like will I be questioned on YVR Airport? Or is this a common thing?

Yes, you will have your maintained status when you return.
