My husband and I would like to start our mpnp application. We are currently working on our Expression of Interest. In the eligibility page, there is a question “Do you or your spouse have a pending immigration application?” My husband (main applicant) is holding a valid PGWP but I (wife) am still waiting for my work permit extension. Does it mean that I have a pending immigration application ? Or does this only apply for Permanent Resident application submitted to Canada?
It has been 6 months since I applied for my extension but my application is still pending. Do we have to wait for my decision before we can apply for mpnp? Your insights will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
