PEI how is IT jobs there?

I'm just asking for those who are PR already in PEI. How's IT jobs there? is it good?
Searching in the net and it seems that PEI is purely rural. I don't if I'm going to push my EOI in PEI

One of the very first interview call I got was from PEI. Company name is Deltawan or Deltaware or Tetraware......I forget. It was for consulting position. But the salary range was so low, thats when I realized how low wage levels are in Canada.

Add to that high taxes and cost of living. Guess there is more money being a Fisherman in PEI than technology career

Thats true, I remember using one of the online tax and take home pay calculation sites. For the salary offered in PEI, there was difference of 4k between take home pay in Alberta v/s PEI.

I have been nominated by PEI last December. I am in the final stage of PR application process and I am worried about the employment opportunities in PEI for IT My NOC is 2171.

Now worried after going through the posts But btw have you tried moving out of PEI to Toronto or anywhere else where you have better employment opportunities for IT jobs? Were you nominated by PEI? Also please guide on what should be the process if you are moving out of PEI due to lack of job opportunities within the province, if any, and if there will be any issues during PR renewal or citizenship when you move out of the province.
