I need help. My permanent card will expired on march 2018. I tried to renew it but unfortunately my application was returned due to missing documents. I will be leavung on December 10 2017 and return on january 12,2018. Can i still come back even my PR card will expire

Yes, you can use your PR card as long as it hasn't expired (even if it has only 1 day left). Also, make sure that you meet the residency obligation to save yourself any troubles when you come back (2 years in rolling 5 years). Good Luck!

I think that whoever you were talking to was getting confused. Many countries require that your passport not expire for 6 months to let you into their country. I assume that is where this misunderstanding started.
