What is PDF barcode verification is used for?

Just for validating the forms? Is it ok to include different pages from different printouts? I noticed they all have different numbers at the bottom when validated?

You can't mix and match pages. The barcodes contain information from the form and must match what is in the form pages. So, the very last thing you need to do before printing the form is to (re)validate it.
