Hi Everyone,

I am sending my application for July 2012 intake inshAllah!
I am not attaching Police Certificates for my country of citizenship and residence right now, I have one question here, do I need to write a letter to CIO stating the reason of not having PCC at first place and send it with my application to CIO?

Please advise.

Many Thanks,

It says on the CIC website in the conditions, that is highly recommended to send them with the initial application in the beginning to avoid delays, but not a must. No need to write a letter. They will write you one and asking for it when the time comes. :) You will need one, thats for sure. I wouldn't be sure if they really return your application, since it's not a must. If nothing major is missing, such incomplete forms, signatures ect. .
As long as they are not older 3 months at the time you file your application, it'll be fine.

hope it helps..

According to current requirements, you may send your application without the PCCs (although you are highly encouraged to send PCCs with the initial application package). You don't have to write a letter. However, you need to provide the PCCs whenever they ask for it later.

the requirements might change for new applications (after 1st July 2012). however, this is how it is at the moment.

Now if they change the criteria from 1st July 2012, they will not give us time to obtain PCCs as the cap for NOC 1122 reaches within one week. Please advise.

I am Sorry that I mentioned there may me a chance for rejection...
I was overlooked
My apologies
